Evacuation Order Extended

On June 4, 2023 a precautionary evacuation order was issued to the areas listed below. In coordination with the MNR the evacuation order has been extended an additional 48hrs, to June 7, 2023, 12:30pm, pending any situational changes.

Notice of Road Construction May to September 2023

Road Construction Notice
Reconstruction of Flat Road from 967 Flat Road to the intersection of Highway 132, will take place from May to September 2023.
Reconstruction will include pulverizing the current wear surface, adding granular, ditching, changing culverts, and applying a new wear surface.
The road will remain open with various closures as required. Road closures will be posted as needed.

Public Meeting:
A public meeting to inform the public of the proposed building fees amendment will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Municipal Office of the Township of Greater Madawaska.
