The Greater Madawaska (55+) Seniors Active Living Program (SALC) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment that empowers older adults to lead active, engaged, and fulfilling lives. Through a diverse range of programs, activities, and community connections, we strive to promote physical wellness, social interaction, and lifelong learning.

Our mission is to unite Greater Madawaska as one strong, connected community, ensuring that every senior feels valued, heard, and involved. By providing accessible opportunities for growth, recreation, and meaningful connections, we aim to enhance the overall well-being of our seniors while strengthening the bonds that make our community thrive.

Together, we celebrate aging with purpose, joy, and a shared commitment to building a healthier, more connected Greater Madawaska.

Intro to Fused Glass: Holiday Ornament Workshop

Join us for a creative introduction to fused glass art! Perfect for beginners, this hands-on session includes a brief overview of glass fusing, with pre-cut glass pieces to make designing easy and fun. Each participant will create three 3”x2” ornaments—ideal for decorating or gifting. Choose from festive templates (snowmen, Santa, trees, and more) or craft your own design using vibrant colored glass.
