The Barnet Park and Cottage property was willed to the Township as a recreation area, by Tom Barnet, grandson of a Lumber Baron, who used it as his summer residence and cottage. The approximate seven-acre property boasts a public boat launch, two beaches, two gazebos, a picnic shelter, picnic tables, and lots of grassy areas for the public's enjoyment. The cottage building can be rented for functions including weddings and family reunions.
