Notice of Application for Approval to Expropriate Land
IN THE MATTER OF an application by The Corporation of the Township of Greater Madawaska for approval to expropriate permanent
easement interests in the lands described in Schedule “A” attached hereto for the purposes of stormwater management and drainage,
including, but not limited to, facilitating access, construction, assembly, installation, operation, use, maintenance, inspection, alteration,
repair, renewal, replacement, reconstruction and removal of all drainage works and equipment appurtenant thereto including all swales,
ditches, catch basins, pipes, conduits, habitat improvements and other works, infrastructure and appurtenances ancillary thereto together
with the right to connect to, free flow and permit the passage of storm water in, on, over, under and through the lands from time to time in
such quantities of storm water as may be required or desirable from time to time from all municipal lands and all municipal infrastructure,
facilities, pipes and conduits from time to time and together with access and egress and to enter and remain on the lands with all
vehicles, machinery, workmen and material for the foregoing purposes.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that application has been made for approval to expropriate the lands described in Schedule “A”
attached hereto.
The reference plans referred to in Schedule “A” forming part of this Notice are available for viewing by written request to
development@greatermadawaska.com.

Any owner of lands in respect of which notice is given who desires an inquiry into whether the taking of such land is fair, sound and reasonably necessary in the achievement of the objectives of the expropriating authority shall so notify the approving authority in writing,
(a) in the case of a registered owner, served personally or by registered mail within thirty (30) days after the registered owner is served with
the notice, or, when the registered owner is served by publication, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice;

(b) in the case of an owner who is not a registered owner, within thirty (30) days after the first publication of the notice.
