September 30 2026 Office Closure

On Wednesday, September 30, the Township of Greater Madawaska Municipal Office will be closed in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Transfer stations will remain open. 

This day is an opportunity to pause, listen, learn, and reflect on the history and lasting impacts of the residential school system, while honouring Survivors, remembering the children who never returned home, and recognizing the experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis families and communities.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, learn something new, and consider the important role we all have in advancing reconciliation. 

We will reopen for regular business on Thursday, October 1.
