2027 MUNICIPAL BUDGET: HAVE YOUR SAY

Thank you to the 153 residents and community members who have already completed the 2027 Municipal Budget Survey. We appreciate this strong participation, and the feedback received will be important as Council considers the 2027 Budget.

The survey remains open until September 27, 2026.

Council recently endorsed the 2027 Budget Directive, which provides staff with a starting point for preparing the draft budget. It is based on maintaining current services, implementing existing financial and asset-management plans, and recognizing known cost pressures.

No final tax increase has been approved.

During the budget process, Council will consider:

• Community feedback

• Municipal service levels

• Operating and capital budget adjustments

• Infrastructure priorities and project timing

• Affordability and impacts on taxpayers

• Grants, reserves, Development Charges and other funding sources

• Opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings
