Library Resources
There are many Library Resources for use
Resources supplement our collection of print materials and help to make learning and literacy and learning resources easily accessible across the Township.
Some of these resources require that you have a valid library membership. If unsure of your membership status, please check with library staff.
Our collection is constantly evolving.
Find out what books, audiobooks, periodicals, and DVDs we have at the library by searching Insignia, our online catalogue. To access the catalogue:
- Log in to your account using your card number and password (the default is your first name)
- Search by title, author, subject, etc.
- Reserve and renew materials
- See the load period for an item
- Check your loan history
- Review fines

The following two (2) resources are available on-site at our library location in Calabogie (subscription is site-specific). Please use one of our public computers for full access.

Museums
Greater Madawaska Public Library and Learning Centre has partnered with Ottawa area museums to offer free general admission (this excludes any special exhibits).
All passes can be checked out for one week, each pass admits a family of 2 adults and 3 children, parking not included.
We are not permitted to reserve passes.
Please call ahead to book an appointment at the museum you intend to visit.

Parks
Ontario Provincial Park passes (2) - Day access for 1 vehicle and its occupants. Check with the Library for free seasonal Ontario Parks parking passes. This pass provides day access to any of Ontario's Provincial Parks; Algonquin, Murphy's Point, Fitzroy, and Bonnechere are some of our favourites.
