The Township is exploring a Community Improvement Plan (CIP), and we want to hear from you.

What is a CIP?
It's a municipal tool that helps encourage investment and improvements by supporting eligible projects that align with community priorities.

• No applications
• No commitments
• Just your thoughts

Whether you live here, work here, own a business, or just care about the community, your input matters.

There are three ways to get feedback to us:

• Come to the public meeting (March 12, 2026)
• Fill out the Survey

We are so excited to share the launch of the Greater Madawaska Community Calendar — a project created to celebrate everything that makes our community so special.

100% of proceeds support the Calabogie and Area Food Bank (over $2000!)

With so many beautiful natural amenities and incredible local businesses, we wanted to find a meaningful way to showcase both — and give back at the same time.

Calendars are $20 each and are available for purchase online on the Merchandise webpage, or at the Township Office and at the following local businesses:

The Dan O'Neill Rink in Calabogie has a NEW Daily Ice Use Schedule.

Public Skating: 10:00am - 1:00pm and 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Sticks & Pucks: 1:00pm - 3:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm

PLEASE NOTE:

NO Public Skating Wednesdays after 7:00pm

NO Public Skating Thursdays after 5:00pm (January 22, Feb 5-26)

Applications are still being accepted for the 2026 Canada Day Committee.

Join our team, get involved, make new friends and enjoy Canada Day to the fullest!

Applications are available on the website or at the Township Office.

The deadline to submit your application is January 7, 2026 at 4:00pm.

Just in case you haven't heard . . . the Calabogie Rink and the Griffith Rink are both open for skating!

The Team opened the Calabogie Rink on December 20 and the Griffith Rink on December 25!

Hard work and cooperative weather makes for great ice!
