Building and Renovating

Prior to starting your next building or renovation project make sure to obtain a Building Permit and/or a Septic System Application. The Township of Greater Madawaska Building Department will review each application to ensure that the project meets the applicable laws and standards in accordance with the Ontario Building Code and the Zoning By-law.

The Township of Greater Madawaska collects development charges to help offset the impact of increasing costs associated with growth-related capital expenditures. You may need to pay development charges depending on the impact of your building project. Review the Development Charges webpage for more information.
