Accessibility

The Township of Greater Madawaska is committed to meeting the legislative requirements set out by the Accessibility of Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) to create barrier free facilities and programs that are accessible to everyone.

As a requirement of AODA, the Township must submit an Accessibility Compliance Report every two years.  The Accessibility Compliance Report is submitted to confirm that we are in compliance with the AODA Standards.

We value all our residents and visitors and strive to meet the needs of everyone. Please feel free to provide your feedback with regards to accessibility within the Township.

Request an Accessible Document

The Township of Greater Madawaska makes it a priority to have all our documents in an accessible format. If you need information in an alternate accessible format, please complete the online Request for Accessible Documents form. Alternatively you can submit a request to the Clerk.

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

The Multi-Year Accessibility Plan identifies areas within the Township that are barriers to accessibility and then the plan outlines a plan to address each barrier. Each year the plan gets reviewed and updated to include the progress we have made.
